少し前のエントリでBrowser Comparisonのサイトを紹介したが、ここもなかなかいい感じである。

MySpace Tom’s porno past – Valleywag
MySpaceの共同設立者Tom Andersonがポルノサイトを運営していたのではないかと言うゴシップ。
The site was called TeamAsian.com [now redirects to GreatDate.com]. Another source says Tom photographed the models himself, and that Tom was almost sued for sexual harrassment. But, says this source, Tom sold the site to a domain parking company and blocked access from the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine.
自分で写真も撮ったりしていたし、そのせいかセクハラで訴えられそうになっていた、と。へえ。
インターネット(に限らずだが)で手っ取り早く稼ごうと思ったらポルノが近道だし、違法行為をしていたという情報は今のところないようだし、別途SNSを立ち上げて、たまたまそれが大成功したからって何がどーだってこともないか。

The 39-cent stamps, as well as 24-cent postal cards, will make their debut at San Diego’s Comic-Con tomorrow. They go on sale Friday.
The stamps, sold in a sheet of 20, feature such individual DC characters as Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, as well as comic book covers.

部屋に残されていた使用済みコンドームを子供が銜えちゃったのに両親が腹を立ててホテルを訴訟。
According to a lawsuit filed July 13 in Clark County District Court, five-year-old Caitlin Kilcoyne found the condom during a July 2004 Sin City visit with her parents Gerald and Jacqueline. Caitlin “found a used condom in the made up bed in her room…and placed the condom in her mouth,” notes the complaint,

うんうん、そりゃあ頭にくるけど訴訟なんて面倒なことまでするのはやはり欧米社会。日本なら思いっきりフロントか支配人を怒鳴りつけるくらいで終わりなのでは。ホテル側だって宿泊費ただにするくらいのことはするだろ。
子供は5歳か。まー両親がその後も笑いのタネにでもしない限り忘れちゃうだろね。

なんだよ、これー。元記事のタイトル見りゃ、全然大した事じゃないじゃないか。

｢新しい悪意あるソフトの80％はアンチウイルスソフトが効かない｣が正確な訳だろー。
意図的に｢新しい｣を省いて危機感を煽ったタイトルに仕立て上げたとしか思えん。
別にオレはプログラマーじゃないから詳しいことは分からないけど、それでも、新しいSpywareかなんかを作ろうとするなら、とりあえず既存のAnti-Virusには引っ掛からないようにするのは当然だろうというくらいのことは分かる。
折角作ったのに直ぐに発見されて削除されちゃうんじゃ意味がないし、またプログラマーであれば、どうやってAnti-Virusのdetection Ruleを潜り抜けるかを考案するところにスリルを感じるんじゃないの?
一方のAnti-Virus メーカーはdetection Ruleを更新することによって、またいつものいたちごっこが繰り返されるだけの話であって、現在のワクチンソフトがウィルスの80%を見逃しちゃうというわけじゃないだろー。
アクセス数稼ぎに｢悪意ある｣タイトルつけるのやめてくれよなー。
