The official WarnerBros.com website promotes Zango/180 Solutions spyware to children using colorful cartoons and games, pre-checking the “I am over 18″ box for them. 180 Solutions’ adware/spyware has been observed to automatically browse to child porn websites when installed. Digg this up and lets get the word out!

デジタルカメラや携帯電話に搭載される記録媒体「フラッシュメモリー」を発明した東芝元社員の舛岡富士雄・東北大教授（６３）が、発明への正当な対価を受け取っていないとして同社を相手に約１１億円の支払いを求めた訴訟は２７日、東京地裁（設楽隆一裁判長）で和解が成立した。記者会見した舛岡氏側の代理人・升永英俊弁護士によると、東芝側が８７００万円を支払う内容で、決着した発明対価訴訟では過去３番目の高額。

たかがホームページ作ってただけの会社を上場させ、買収と偽計取引で虚構の株価を吊り上げたホリエモンがポンと支払った保釈金は3億だぞ。
今の世の中、大した技術もビジネスモデルもないくせに会社を立ち上げ、ろくすっぽ審査能力のない証券会社と良心を失った監査法人を使って上場したほうが、よっぽど儲かるって訳だ。

The RIAA suffered a legal setback today, as a file-sharing case was dismissed and the defendant awarded attorneys fees.

The music group offered to settle the case for US$5,000, but Foster decided to take her chances in court. She requested that the RIAA provide specifics such as the dates of the alleged downloading and the files involved. The RIAA failed to provide the requested information and Foster filed a motion for summary judgment. In turn, the RIAA decided to cut its losses and asked the court to withdraw its case. The court approved the RIAA’s request, but named Foster the winner and awarded her attorneys fees over the RIAA’s objections.

Debbie Foster is not the only mother to stand up to the RIAA. A 42-year-old disabled, single mother from Oregon, Tanya Anderson, is currently fighting the RIAA’s file-sharing allegations. She denies downloading hip-hop over Kazaa and decided to fight back after being contacted by the Settlement Support Center. There is also the case of Patricia Santangelo, a divorced mother of five living in New York. Her case is currently headed for trial in the US District Court of the Southern District of New York, after a motion to dismiss was denied.

Netscape.com has been hacked via a persistent Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in their newly launched Digg-like news service. Attackers (who are obviously fans of Digg) have used the XSS vulnerability to inject their own javascript code snippets into pages on the website, including the homepage. As of now, it has only been used to display javascript alerts with “comical” messages and to redirect visitors to Digg.com!
