映画は今、日本でも公開中だけど、コミックまであったとは知らなかった。
2004年7月に米政府が公開した9/11テロ公式調査報告書の内容を劇画にして再構成した異色の書籍『The 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation』が発売された。内容の一部はSlateで公開されているが、アメリカ人に馴染み深いアメコミ風の作画で、読み易くわかりやすいものに仕上がっている。世界を変えたあの大事件が、アメリカン・コミック風の読み物として書店で販売されるというのはなんとも奇妙な感じだ。なにしろあれからまだ5年しか経過していないし、肝心の公式調査そのものにも漏れがあったため追加調査の必要性が叫ばれている最中である。
作り話じゃないだろうな。

えーと、ロシアのウラル地方で、ある男が2,000ルーブル(約 $74)を自分の口座に預金したところ、レシートに記載された残高が2,006,699,000ルーブル(約 $7,430,000)になってたんだと。びっくりして間違いを訂正してもらおうと銀行の窓口に行ったんだけど、 その対応が「おかしな事はしょっちゅう起きてんだよ、忙しいから後でまた来てくれ」っていうひどいものだったので、頭に来た男はATMから現金を引き出して窓口に積上げてやったんだと。今度は流石に銀行員も恐れ入って男の正直さに感謝の言葉を述べた。それで男も満足して岐路に着いたんだけど、ふと思い立ちもう一度ATMで残高を確認したらまた20億ルーブル入ってたんだって!!
いい銀行だなぁ。日本にも進出してくれないかなぁw
(どうもこの記事にはミスタイプが多いみたいだね。タイトルもそうだし「2,006,699,00 RUR」っていうのも明らかにカンマだから最後に0が1個抜けているものと思われる。)
それに比べて日本の銀行は….。
これは預金者から抗議が殺到するのじゃないか。東京スター銀行が実施している「無料ＡＴＭ」に対して、大手銀が横ヤリを入れて、潰しにかかっていることが分かった。公的資金で救済してもらいながら、預金者の利便まで封じようというのだからフザケた話だ。

母親の車を無断使用した17歳の息子を両親が教訓のために窃盗犯で訴えたところ、護送車の中で他の囚人によって殺されちゃったと言う、なんとも….な話。
Ashley’s family say his parents wanted to teach him a lesson about the consequences of breaking the law. He had taken his mother’s car without permission so they had him charged him with theft.
On Thursday Ashley appeared at the North Shore District Court. The judge offered him bail but his parents chose to send him to prison as a deterrent.
But on the trip to Auckland Central Remand prison, he was believed to have been strangled and assaulted by two others in the van.

ま、大人料金で単純除算しているのでもう少し人数は増えるとしても、この計算からすると余裕で座って見れそうなんだけどw
実際は平日の朝方以外難しいんだろうなぁ….。

最初からこの手の事件が起きる事は容易に想像できたが、やっぱり起こったという事件。
つ～か、前にも誰だったかタレントの身長書き換え合戦とかあったし、これからも起こるでしょうw
指摘によるとWikipediaの楽天証券の項目では【金融庁、楽天証券に対して行政処分通達】でも報じたように、昨年11月に金融庁が楽天証券のシステム障害に関して業務改善命令を受けたことが記載されていたが、これが二度に渡り削除された(削除されるたびに別の投稿者によって記述は復帰され、最新の情報では8月26日に再び掲載されたとのこと)。
Wikipediaでは投稿者・削除者のIPアドレスは履歴が残る。ネット証券Blog2側では業務改善命令関係の削除をした人物のIPをWhoisデータベースで調べたところ、「楽天証券の中の人」(楽天証券の会社内部からアクセスした人)であることが明らかになった。

IPアドレスが楽天のものであったなら楽天社員による行為であるものと推定してもほぼ間違いないんでしょう。もしも外部の人間が楽天社内に侵入して行ったのであれば、セキュリティ管理が問題となってくる。組織的なのか個人単独で行ったのかは分かりませんが、IPアドレスが残ることを知らなかったのか、知っていてもそれが何なのか知らなかったのか、あるいはwhoisを知らなかったのか……いずれにせよネット関連会社にあるまじきリテラシーの低さですなぁ….。

6百万円か。てことは5倍に値上がりしたことに。30百万円という投資額はVCやAngelの感覚からすればそう高いものではないだろう。一方、この金額でこれまでに掛かった開発費や人件費その他を回収できたかどうかは微妙な気がする。KikoのB/Sが見れるわけでもないので単なる憶測だが、借方にはPCその他の機器があるくらいで、貸方には若干の債務があるくらいなのではないだろうか。この手のVBは銀行借入ではなくEquityで資金調達しているようなイメージがあるので、仮にそうだとすると未払給与なんかをこの30百万円で支払ったら後は何も残らないような気がする。
何にせよ、売れて良かったね。それてにしても、僅か1ヶ月も経たない内に会社の売却が済んじゃうところがSilicon Valleyのスピード感なのだろうか。勿論それは面倒な法的手続きを省いたことによるところが大きいのだろうが、このスピード感でもって、売った方も買ったほうも其々の思惑に従って新しく活動を開始し、それがまたいろいろな展開に繋がっていくのだろう。
但し、このZDNetの記事の締めくくりは大分皮肉っぽい。
