Just a small town girl, livin in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south detroit
He took the midnight train goin anywhere
A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night
Working hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
(chorus)
Dont stop believin
Hold on to the feelin
Streetlight people

笑ったのは、Strong Evidence? No -> Sue, but use the dumb lawyers <- Is defendant elderly, disabled, or poor?
The basic format for embedding images into a web page using the tag has been around almost as long at HTML itself, since the first graphical web browser. It works, and it is used constantly. But can it be better?
Advertising network AdBrite, which is always looking for new ways to think about things, says it can. This morning, AdBrite launches BritePic to help people add a lot of new functionality around embedded images. Just by changing the embed code, web publishers can add a caption, watermark, zoom, share, resize and other features. And an advertisement, if they choose to.

But why is Valleywag, usually so cynical, excited about Adbrite’s new offering?
Embedded ads may allow photographers to make money out of their work. At the moment, the economic value of most photographs on the web is too low for commissioning to be viable. The result: most images are reproduced, if the creator is lucky, with credit and a link back to the original source. The gratification is psychological rather than financial. It’s a karma economy, which is unsustainable. Amateur and freelance photographers need the possibility of financial reward, if they’re not to feel exploited, and undermine, by legal action, web publishing. These blogs would look very gray if they relied only on licensed photos from the traditional libraries.
MySpace is expected to announce a deal on Thursday with former Disney CEO Michael Eisner to distribute his video series through MySpace Video.
Perhaps this is the start of a trend: professional content served up for the MySpace/YouTube generation.
An alleged Taiwanese gangster has chosen a novel way of threatening the life of a rival: He sent a video to a local TV station in which he promises to kill him the next time they meet.
“The next time I bump into you, I’ll kill you,” he says.
The video was broadcast repeatedly on Taiwanese cable news stations Tuesday.
So today we found one of the dumbest gadgets around from Japan. A device that hides your eyes and disguises your voice so that you can say all the horrible things you want or confess your love without letting the person know who you are.
So we have to ask… Do you really want to yell at someone or confess love anonymously. Doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose.

Tameshigiri is the Japanese art of target test cutting. The kanji literally mean “test cut”. This practice was popularized in the Edo period (17th century) for testing the quality of swords and continues through the present day.
Apparently there have been quite a few incidents where cops have mistaken such mundane objects as wallets, keys, and candy bars for guns. Michael Moore hands out bright orange wallets to people so that cops won’t mistake them for guns anymore.

Star Wars fans can now officially geek out to their trash cans, too. This R2D2 aluminum trash bin works like any other foot-pedal operated cylindrical bin–but it looks totally rad in your bedroom or kitchen. This bad boy’s available in Japan from the end of March, and in the US this summer.
